To A New Life Poem by Nidhi Rajesh Kumari

To A New Life

You may find me silly, goofy or simply a moron
But, I am the one who's never forlorn
May be I appear crazy at some times or most
But at least, I don't let fears haunt me like a ghost.

Why let this life pester you with little pain
When you have so much of fun down the lane?
Just try and take a sip of happiness
And, you'll kill all your fears and sadness.

I do it, believe me, its the best beverage
And perhaps, its useful for increasing your age
Demanding every happiness is wrong, no doubt
But, not asking for sorrows is what I'm talking about.

Let's make smiling an aim in life because
For every failure, insufficient confidence is a cause
A smile fills life with trust and hope of good times
But, life's always sweet and sour as limes.

It is an incredible mix of joys and pains
But lets not make it a game of gains
Let's live deeper and think wider now on
Lest in useless passion, this short life will be gone.
