to all the lovers of peace
let us gather to celebrate peace
let us sing together to celebrate peace
let us celebrate our freedom to love peace
let us celebrate our freedom to hate war
people gather march protest against war
people never gather march protest against peace
why do military governments oppose fear peace?

why is the idea of peace dangerous?
why is it dangerous to aspire to love desire peace?
why are peace lovers arrested imprisoned assassinated?
sadly it seems a few nasty are making huge profits from war?
machines factories making mass weapons of war machines of death?
dictators hate peace love war even democracies love their pride armies?

powerful dictatorships can influence
control global politics through invading armies?
powerful democracies can influence
control global politics through threat superior super armies?
superpowers like to tighten grip on global politics
are afraid some people might not like agenda justified wars?

some citizens resent their governments
spending citizen tax money on bullets bombs wars
some citizens resent their elected leaders
who do not want blessings of peace bestowed anywhere
some citizens resent propaganda epidemic new wars
elite profit war wealth while poor people starve homeless
