To All The Sisters Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

To All The Sisters

To all the sisters

Rest in peace my sister, my mother, teacher and trainer
Rest in peace my maid and nanny and my pillar…
Rest in peace favourite, best friend…
- (in times of joys and pains!)

Thank you
Thank you
Thank you

Rest assure I recall, remember
-most of what with honey and smiles
-you said and repeated to mention…

Oh, it was in the days when muscles
-made me feel too proud and careless.

It was when I climbed the mountains
-saw nothing but the heights, not the caves
-boxed the walls very hard to break the bricks.

I was tough; spoke rough
-to woman, man, old, young.

You pulled rein of the horse
You looked me in the eye
You whispered as do buds
You taught me "Go slow."

Thank you
Thank you
Thank you

You were dew in the dawn.
You were the morning Sun.
You shed lights in my dark.

you told me
- "Talk sweet…
-…it won't kill! "

I listened, come and see…
