To Be Loved For Who I Am: What That Is?

Lost and distraught
Trying to find out who I am?
And when I think I know
And I act out that role.
Something changes
The process starts over,
I am never satisfied with myself,
All I want is to be accepted
To be loved
For who I am
And what I am?
But how is that possible
When I don't know
Exactly what that is?
