How on earth did I walk in those platform shoes?
When seventies fashion hit the news.
If I tried it now,
I'd fall on my back!
Back then we were young,
We'd mastered the knack.
Tank tops and hats that flopped,
Those were the days in so many ways.
Glam rock and striped socks,
We wallowed in the scene,
Those good old seventies days,
The best there's ever been!
That golden age,
If only I could turn back time,
Like a page of a book,
If only that's all it took,
To go back again.

You want to freak your kids (or neighbor's kids) out? Wear everything (maybe, but the platforms - safety fist) you just mentioned. And have a laugh.
May just give that a try! Lol : ) : )
