To Learn The Scriptures Is Easy
To learn the scriptures is easy,
to live them, hard.
The search for the Real
is no simple matter.
Deep in my looking,
the last words vanished.
Joyous and silent,
the waking that met me there.
'Practice what you preach' as the old saying goes! Loved the way the poem, in two simple, short stanzas, expresses a true devotee's take on holy scriptures and how to find perhaps inner peace through self-realisation.
