To Look Back - Poem by Manonton Dalan

this morning on my way
i keep dreaming badly
i missed the round turn
i almost forgot where
am i going until a sign
that says 'are you home'

i chuckle i did get too far
might as well have coffee
sweet talking girl at counter
people crowded her; most
putting change in a bottle
she's good i won't hesitate
