An Angel, so lovely; my lover, a rose
Captured me with caring am loving her charm
So gorgeous to look at her picture, her pose
The type that kills anger and then keeps you calm
She's fallen for mere me for what no_one knows
She feels and loves me for just who I am
If only this love were pills I'd taken O'er dose
Then be immune to other girls and bring her no harm
I Don't want to loose her so I won't falter.
I adore her a lot like a priest does his alter
Wouldn't wanna hurt her with the words I utter
Flow with this love tide it's more than Atlantic's water
And If ever I fail in doing my duty
She's free to treat me with so much cruelty
I'm only saying I have no plans to be guilty
So lets shun these critics their words are filthy.
And for you my heart my love AROSE
So much joy it brings to love a ROSE.
Love oozes from every line you write from the heart with such deep emotions that is so moving, very well written!
Beautiful love poem, well articulated, nicely encapsulated, and subtly penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. I like the romantic nature of the piece and its rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Albert. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
Heartfelt and romantic, trying to stay true to just one woman, doing everything possible to not think of other women, wanting only the one! Very commendable sentiments, Albert! Thank you for sharing, RoseAnn
