To My Stolen Mobile Phone Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

To My Stolen Mobile Phone

Rating: 5.0

Where are you now, my mute friend?
Are you happy in the stranger's hand?
You used to be a source of my fancy joys,
Your rings did create pleasure, like all toys.

I miss your music and pictures so lovely,
They made me feel so safe and comely.
Alas, the kidnap came so unexpected, so abrupt,
No more of greetings or tidings, to sweetly interrupt!

You were not my ideal brand, to you I confess,
But your departure does bring me great distress.
Sad, not just because of the loss, but of the under-hands,
And I've been totally cut off from all dear friends.

You will form a precious memory in my mind, as thus,
I will miss you ere a new one comes to raise a new fuss.
