If i'm not mistaken, i see a kitten/cat, NOT a butterfly. The cat must have REALLY gotten lost in the bush! Despite other comments...[ I like the poem]... not all would consider it a 'proper' haiku**, i think. [But it certainly gives a vision of the natural world ] ....hai·ku noun a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. an English imitation of this. Well, yes i chose to have a picture of Japanese kitten instead of that a butterfly... The butterfly can be also understood as a metaphor. :) As for the form of it: this is obviously not a formulated(proper) 5-7-5 haiku, but i guess i've got the spirit in this piece. It is more spontaneous than my previous attempt HAIKU BY THE DOZEN(a bit too rigid) ...
