Today I Saw Poem by Abhishek Mishra

Today I Saw

Rating: 5.0

Today I saw a beggar
Who was about to die because of hunger
I looked at him from feet to head
He was old and almost naked
Neither properly he could walk
nor could talk
I bought some food for him
The satisfaction we both had
cannot be drafted in word
I went back to home
but I could not sleep the whole night
The only thought which was in my mind
that tomorrow who will bring food for him
which infact is his 'right'...

Thank you for this inspiring write about the hungry and desolate. They will always be a part of society but we still can attend to their needs and be a help to them. A kind and compassionate person you are. Please read these two poems that I wrote titled On a Mission and the Homeless. You are gifted.

Very nice poem resulting from a kind act. If only we all cared about each other in this way. I hope your poem inspires people to start looking around them and acknowledge all the suffering taking place. We all can do our part. Thank you!
