Tolerance Is My Religion - Poem by Khaoula Basty

Life is a boat of joy and happiness
Life is short, don’t complicate it
Be optimist, be human, and be tolerant
Forgive your friend, your brother, your sister, your enemy
You are a human
Believe in tolerance
Tolerance is a faith
Tolerance is an attitude
Tolerance is a religion
Decorate your life with tolerance
Don’t kill the child inside you
Be innocent, be soft-hearted, be sentimental
Take the path of tolerance and not of hatred
Love, live, forget, forget
Tolerance is my path
Tolerance is my life
Tolerance is my religion
Be a human, be tolerant

Beautiful poem! Indeed, all religions are only about love, patience, sincerity, and tolerance. No religion would ever ask people to kill anyone for any reason whatsoever. Thanks for sharing this. (Report) Reply

Lovely poem. We need to have more love and hatred. Since I took part in that poetry project, I am trying to visit all these poets and say hello. Slow but steady I will be able to do that. My best wishes for new year and ahead. (Report) Reply
