Tomorrow's Arms Poem by Bryce Edward Coast

Tomorrow's Arms

Rating: 5.0

Grasp unto tomorrow's arms
If you fall down today
Dangling off the edge of harm
Don't let life slip away

Whatever now that troubles you
Is never worth surrender
The judgement that your mind issues'
A verdict, you can't render

There's many things that we regret
When caught up in the moment
Persisting woes we can't forget
That make our hearts to go spent

But, aches and pains that tempt the brain
Just aren't worth forever
Why leave the earth, in tears behind..
With love ones to endeavor?

Take the noose off from your neck
And step down from that stool
Put your feet back on the deck
Cause suicide's uncool

Lower down, the loaded gun
From up against your head
Stop thinking that you wanna run
Stop wishing you were dead

Take the hand that beckons you
And throw away your sorrow
Let the arms now pull you through
In safely to tomorrow
