'' Tomorrow She May Not Be There '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Tomorrow She May Not Be There ''

Love from your Mother,
Is like no other,
She's beside you from the day you are born,
Resentment inside you need to smother,
Lest you end up forlorn.

Between good and bad,
We can drive them mad,
Your respect for her don't ever hide,
Make it your duty to make her glad,
Her presence you must never deride.

She lives for you,
Don't cause her ado,
A Mother needs love in return,
Respect her authority or you'll go askew,
Don't let your relationship burn.

A child is for life,
Don't cause her strife,
Mothers are a special breed,
Hurting her will cut like a knife,
Deep inside, you'll make her heart bleed.

As time flies by,
I can testify,
Your Mother needs to know that you care,
Your love for her you must never deny,
