Too Beautiful To Be Absorbed All At Once. Poem by Luo Zhihai

Too Beautiful To Be Absorbed All At Once.

Too Beautiful To Be Absorbed All At Once

The desolate and beautiful setting sun
the cool breeze faint to send forth aromas of lotuses
The deep midnight
light oars leisure to shake moonlight

The brilliant brush and ink
a pot of the fragrant tea
rippling shadow of spring

The lute and psaltery are in harmony
a few wisps of the clear music
around the painting beams
