Too Fool Poem by Luo Zhihai

Too Fool

太蠢材

用心交友才聰慧
以貌取人太蠢材
拈一朵花香助酒
借三分月色抒懷

Too Fool

It is just intelligent to make friends at pains
It is too fool to judge people by outward appearance
For helping wine, hold a flower fragrance between the fingers
To express feeling, borrow thirty percent of moon color

interesting thoughts from long ago, and sensible to borrow moon-color not -rock. the art of matching flower to wine must be quite demanding.
