Too Lucky To See Poem by Manonton Dalan

Too Lucky To See

lone eagle on bridge overlooking lake
spread her majestic wings to wind breeze
i watch her in awe; staring at me; i'm bigger
with a quick leap floated in air; endless
stretch her claws; caught an unsuspecting fish
gently landed on rocks; piercing that flesh

hungry came to my mind when she gazed at me
i could understand that's hers; let it be
i was talking to my friend telling her all
i really wish she was with me to enjoy this
it's a wonderful moment i said looking at clouds
i could only share words; my camera i should have
