Tornado Victims Recovering Poem by Walterrean Salley

Tornado Victims Recovering

Rating: 5.0

Hearts are heavy
And aching inside,
For the tornado victims
Who've had a rough ride.

Some lost their home
Some lost their life
Some have each other,
Kid—husband—wife.

Aged. Sick. They ALL
Must start over again.
Rebuilding their lives
Won't be the same.

But may they all know
That others do care,
Remembering them daily
In thoughts and prayer.
