She made the curve of a body to jump in the well
Leaned over silently and uttered some words
"God forgive me for this cowardice act"
I don't want to end life, in fact

I watched from the distance
And rushed at once
To save her life was my first task
I caught her hold and started to pull back

"Let me die, please let me die
I won't give another try
I am disillusioned and want to end
I gave her solace and acted as the friend

I was moved by her story
Somebody had made treachery
And left her alone to die
He had made her pregnant and chose to flee

"I shall give you the name and protection"
Now I was in full action
She understood my gesture
And assured me not to bring an end

I watch at the little baby
With the total reflection of an almighty
I felt moved by the arrival of baby
Mother and child both seemed happy
