waking to the tragedy
of school boy weekdays
waking slow reluctant
to face school days dragging;
stumbling through school week
slow low woe until happy turn time
Friday night from school to home
happy singing a Friday night freedom song;
the moral is weekdays
schooldays wake morning late,
fast fly out of bed fast
butt lit afire to an extra energy burst
extra extra ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZs
sleep running fast track to school late

Another wonderful poem on how schooldays affect the behavior of children. Thank you for the dedication. I feel humbled.
I wrote the poem 'Which Drift Leaf Memories Does Time Retain? ', inspired by my reply to a comment on my poem 'Tragedy School Boy Weekdays: Woke Late Running Fast', by the poet Rose Marie Juan-austin and dedicated to Rose Marie Juan-austin.
I think most of us have a few memories from past school days, so ingrained they can never be forgotten : )
