Treasure - Poem by Gordon Jerome

We all pass through life like a double edge blade
Creating a pathway by the choices we’ve made
Some are precise with their straightforward path
Others cut and run as they face another’s wrath
We should all stand our ground proud and true
If I’m given a choice that’s what I choose to do
No matter all the obstacles life throws my way
I will stay my course to seek out a brighter day
Be the one by whom the others wish to measure
And in that life you will find the greatest treasure.
“closing thought”
Trust in yourself in everything that you do
And if you have any doubts know that I trust in you
