Treasure Island Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Treasure Island

Rating: 3.5

Stealthily and silently
The man enters the Treasure Island,
Thinking that he will be the first man to reach there
And to get the best share.
But when he reaches there and knocks at the door of the Island,
He learns that someone has already reached there.
The man becomes very frustrated and thinks himself a vain man.
It happens so often,
But the situation does not change,
Man always runs anxiously faster and faster with his uncontrollable greed for the Treasure Island.
