TO: WILFRED OWEN
we can read Dulce Et Decorum Est
sans Siegfried Sassoon, the world will never know about Wilfred Owen
or any of his poems,
Wilfred lacked constantly money
he was poor so he could not afford his study
one thing the world has not known,
now I tell ye all,
God had not forgotten him
and sent his Angel in disguise
this Angel's name was Siegfried Sassoon
he had come so soon,
one thing Wilfred loved so much,
he wrote poems
Siegfried tutored him, improved,
and encouraged him very much,
he was his angel and benefactor,
Wilfred died during war when fighting
at the Somme in France,
his Dolce Et Decorum Est
was published posthumously
in 1920
we know now that he became famous globally
Thank you, dear God
You made Wilfred famous on the spot
