Troublesome Forty [ 26 To 30. Tamil Quatrains] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Troublesome Forty [ 26 To 30. Tamil Quatrains]

26.It is wretched to sever the friendship of the elderly.
To trumpet about one's rare deeds in future is distressing.
It is woeful to share your pains with the graceless men.
To do harm to the great is tormenting.

27.To slander the greatness of the great is afflicting.
To remove the title-holders is agonizing.
The luring beauty of the poor is daunting.
The symptoms of old age in youth are despairing.

28.The steed carrying a rider who pulls not the reins is jeopardizing.
The elucidation of meaning by an illiterate is quite obnoxious.
Sweet words from the mouths of the poor are excruciating.
Painful to see the stupid speaking in the council of the learned!

29.To spur the snakes to stomp by a poor snake-charmer is choking.
It is worrying to see one bereft of swimming springs into water.
It is upsetting to give birth to foolish children.
Straining to see an unrestrained person hearing a secret!

30.Harassing to jump down from the top branch of a tall tree!
To go before the furious elephant is troubling.
A hiding snake's hole is dangerous.
The way through the tiger straggling forest is endangering.
