Troublesome Forty [9 - 11] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Troublesome Forty [9 - 11]

Rating: 2.5

9. The toddy drinkers feel the angst in an old village rid of toddy.
It is achy to the beneficiaries if the benefactors aren't there.
The beauty of a miser is agonizing.
To rein a horse without saddles is alarming.

10.It is painful to recite poetry before the uncomprehending fools.
To tread alone in a narrow path in dark is worrisome.
Don't seek freebies from graceless persons.
It is distressing to receive something from a pauper.

11.To embrace the unwilling wife is miserable.
It is troubling to make friendship with the narrow-minded.
To join a lecherous one is grieving.
To walk before the eyes of lenders of money is finicky..
