True People Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

True People

Rating: 5.0

“Mullah* run up to mosque”
He has nothing further to stand in queue
He has only one mission
Offer only to the service of almighty with submission

They are supposed to be the custodian
For correct interpretation of religion
To profess true spirit and awareness
Not to run after worldly things or chase

They have devoted good time to learn
Their aim is not to go after money or earn
It is voluntary and reflects noble life of person
The community too offers respectable position

Such people are true representative
Their utterances are value based and selective
The harmony and peace is guided by their behavior
People too look forward with honor

They have one thing to remember
They should never cause agony to any member
Rich or poor must attract same attention
“God is one’’ must be professed with noble retention

Nichole Boult14 minutes ago I'm not in the greatest interest in these type of feelings in this poem. Yet, it was good. Description on how it should be done is great.
