Trust Poem by Ronald Strickland

To misunderstand and used by a person you care for,
and left with total confusion,
tears apart the heart that held the trust.

If the thoughts of this were in words of a poem,
with some thoughts that bring with it tears,
and the heart's effort to push away the pain and
the sadness it brings,

But the words shared in a poem, does not bring such pain.

sadness that gives difficulty for the heart and soul to understand, when that trust is shattered it brings us sadness.

Tears that give us confusion and the understanding of why our hearts are with grief, with why our trust was forsaken.

Are we not in control of our hearts to love and trust?

The heart takes warning. Why do we not listen when
the pain begins and the teardrops fall?
