Truth Of If..... Poem by Varsha M

Truth Of If.....

Rating: 5.0

If has no room of its own
Always on look to find one
Slowly sneeks in through doubt
And rule nations on indecessive brute.

If has nothing to offer
Just if knows to pull lower
How much ever I wish to fight
It always come on time right.

If fails to express itself
If I never give it space to cough
But it takes all of my belief
To make me believe against every if.

If only bloom, if I allow it to
'cause I never thought to argue
But submitted trusting it true
Only to discover fallacy in disguise.

If only knows to occlude the mind
Presenting illusing contrasts
Compelling even to believe what is fog
Though it exists but you can't log.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Inspired by poem if of Rudyard Kipling describing if as we forget to explore options and miss many. I think it describes about our fears.
I chose to explore the negativity we focus on if and fear to do positives that might yield better results. I too explored fear but in another sense, a pulling down force.
