Try...Not To Ask Me Why Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Try...Not To Ask Me Why

The sky is blue.
Ocean waters too.
Blue eyes are found,
Around others that are hazel.
Green and even brown.
But don't...
Ask me why.
And don't...
Await for my reply.

There are times a 'wassup'?
Can cause a face to frown.
With a doing this to bring,
Anybody down.
But don't...
Ask me why.
Or try to get from me a criticism.

I'm not seeking weeping tears.
Anywhere to find them,
Flooding the ground.
Leaving not a place to step.
Around them found.

There's just too many people living giving up.
Too many people...
Living giving up.
There's just too many people living giving up.
Don't even try...
To ask me why.

It's not easy these days,
To maintain one's hope and faith.
Done to pray...
All the evilness away.

It's not easy these days,
To maintain one's hope and faith.
With this done to pray...
All the evilness away.

Try...
Not to ask me why.
Just do it.
I said try...
Not to ask me why.
Just do it!
With your action.
And enact this with interaction.
Pray.
Enact this with interaction.
Pray.
Enact this with interaction.
Your enacted interaction!
