Trypophobic Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Trypophobic

You come then you leave,
Leaving an vast void of fear.
The constant tapping and re-tapping of nails in my heart.
I fear the steps that walk towards me in fear of what's to come.
The average fear shone without a manual to ease it's coming and going.
The sound of your steps quickly approaching.
I've tried pulling them out one by one, those galvanized nails.
Rusted, dug in deep.
I shutter at the sight of the holes left behind.
The cluster of pain you've left.
A constant reminder of the broken promises and the nails you constantly
hammer into my heart.
Unfit to be held by anyone else, just the sight of my heart
makes my skin crawl.
The anxiety you left behind
