Turn On The Lights So I Can Find It Poem by Ted Sheridan

Turn On The Lights So I Can Find It

Rating: 5.0

There is more than just a subtle difference
between being forty and turning sixty.
When I was forty I would wake up every morning;
happy, erect and ready for sex. I would sing in the shower
for an hour before heading off to work.
At sixty I awake with a pain in my back and
within minutes any thought I had of getting it up
is gone with a morning pee during my shower…
While the fat lady sings in hers…..about the good times…
