Twilight 2 Poem by David Harris

Twilight 2

As the cool air comes at twilight
the songs of evening appear.
Everywhere you hear the night calls
that echo in the darkness.

The calls that inspire lovers
under the pale moonlight
as hand in hand they walk
through their own paradise.

In the darkness of the night
the creatures sing their chorus
for lovers that might call
that begins at twilight, ending when dawn calls.
