Lost and abandoned
We stumbled through life
Still stuck in the past
Remembering good times
Bad times as well
Hoping that wisdom
Guides our path
Love has escaped
Before from our grasp
Wanting it back
It remained masked
We question this path
Meant for us to cross
Has hope revived our
Two broken hearts
