Two Minutes After One Pm Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Two Minutes After One Pm

R-ise of the beacon begins,
O-n twenty-sixth January;
S-hadows have disappeared,
E-vading the Thursday glory.

D-ay has just broken,
A-fter the twilight is gone;
M-isty Wednesday is over,
A-s you see the breaking dawn.
S-un meets the zenith,
C-omfort departs from mayhem;
O-ne birth is celebrated, two minutes after one PM.
