Un Pacte. - Poem by Michael Walker

Qui a un pere tetu;

Poet's Notes about The Poem

It is interesting to compare Whitman and Pound, similar in many ways, yet different too. I have read Whitman's ' Leaves of Grass'
a few times. I have read a lot of Ezra Pound's poetry in anthologies. I think Pound's 'Cantos' are far-reaching in scope and vision, though not without lapses. I prefer the earlier Cantos-ancient Greece.
