Unbroken Vow Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Unbroken Vow

Rating: 5.0

D-arkness has just turned
I-nto a break of sunny day;
A-nother dawn is shining,
N-ight chill has gone away.
N-ew morn has broken, when the sun starts to ascend;
E-arly lights fill the sky as I feel the warmth they send.

C-louds begin to disappear
A-fter the rain stops to fall;
B-eneath the lanes up above
A-re voices that greet and call.
R-ecorded sound of songs
L-ets you hear them softly;
E-ars of you feel the comfort when you're eased the way it should be.

L-onely evening is over,
A-s the twilight passes from view;
M-arch twenty-sixth this year,
B-irth of you is far from blue.
I-nclement clime turns fine,
N-o more mist in the air;
I-nside my heart is the wish,
C-heer and joy I want to share.
I-'m so very happy for you, because of who you are now;
O-ne lady who is so faithful, always keeping the unbroken vow.
