Unchanged - Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar
With a wish to remain the same...
People dare to make claims,
Of better days for them that come.
And when those days do come,
Unlike the other ones...
They do not see them as being better.
Are their same complaints...
Seeking acceptance in those better days,
They can not recognize as changed.
