Unconscious Partnered Relationship Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unconscious Partnered Relationship

Entangled to strangle.
As if a tango of 'wills'
Is wished to prance,
In some dramatic heated dance.

No part of this do I wish.
To join in an unconscious...
Partnered relationship.

Clever rhythmic twists,
To involve with ongoing conflicts...
Gone unsolved.
Will not blind a purpose...
Refusing this kind of mix.

'Avoid this invitation.
Snap out of it quick! '

A voice inside of me insists.
And listening intently,
Is one of my virtues.
With a splitting done...
Quick!
Giving not a bit of hesitation,
For this arrangement in my mind to sit!
