I drink from the bottle which you pour,
Yet I am not entirely dependent
On how it makes me feel.
I've opened my lips and placed you
Inside me.
You've transformed & taken me
To where the earth gets drunk &
Everything spins without boarder.
Before everything is monetized
Before police are mobilized.
I am elevated peering through the
Peephole from which you trickle.
The attachment of liquid algorithms
And heightened senses,
I drink from the bottle you pour,
Your bottom lip the rim of the glass
I drink,
Yet I am not entirely dependent
On how you make me feel.
You leap into my life and swirl around
My glass.
I swirled you around my mouth,
& learned there are limitations to
Influence.
Yet I still cannot swim
In my own reflection
