Understanding Value Of Time Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

After birth you are now one day old
One year old, ten years old and
Fifty years old, seventy years old and
Now you are old years old dear old,
Second by second and minute by minute
Hours by hours and days by days
And years after years have passed away,
Life span which you have brought in hand,
It is reduced at each moment,
So dear soul, you be clever and work,
You do not waste your precious time.

You do not listen what others badly say,
Just keep your mind in God and do duty,
Always hear the words of God obeying him,
You understand preciousness of each moment,
Do not waste it at all dear dazzling soul.
You do duty selflessly and pleasantly,
You do not expect anything in return,
Developing power of tolerance you stand,
Be courageous and do not fear at all,
God has granted you rights of righteousness,
You never leave this way and walk with God.

This body which you have brought in debt,
From nature according to your past actions,
This perishable body deteriorates by aging,
Time deeply influences on this material body
One day you have to return back this to nature,
Not a single atom or cell from body you can take,
Without this body you cannot work also,
So be cautious and work positively by this body,
Taking care of this body with pure food and exercise,
Every moment you utilize in God's service.
