Understudy Poem by Lauren Coles

Everyone gets nervous from time to time,
People have to miss shows if they are acting in a play,
People don't want to miss shows but sometimes in life there are things that are not in our control,
People get sick,
That's why someone has to learn the lines just in case they can't be there because everyone knows that you can't be at two places at once,
That's impossible,
You can tell your friend that you can be there to save the day in return for helping you out,
I would do anything for a friend.
