Unfading Love Poem by Walterrean Salley

Unfading Love

Rating: 5.0

O how strange love seems:
Height, depth,
Length and width;
Its entire realm.

Days, hours,
Weeks and years
Are as yesterday—
Or nearer.

Nothing matters.
Though old we grow,
Together we build.
Together we climb invincible hills.

Constructing dreams,
Becoming one.
Sharing joy and sorrow.
Nearing life’s fading sun.

Heart-to-heart and hand in hand,
Our footprints (engraved in life's sand) ,
Shall signal all lovers there be
To follow along as we.

‘Tis eternal love which fades not
My heart holds for you, and nothing matters.
Though old we grow, together we build.
Together we conquer invincible hills.

Leaving a track of love that cannot be erased by the hands of time is the greatest gift to progeny! ! A lovely write!

Love is beautiful if it comes from the heart.

Hallow the body as a temple to comeliness and sanctify the heart as a sacrifice to love; love recompenses the adorers.
