Unfortunate Is This Reality Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unfortunate Is This Reality

Disliking the truth,
Does not stop it from happening.
Or an experience of it,
Can not and could not
Be erased from one's mind.

Those who know truth,
Are not easily persuaded.
Or told they have been mislead.
There is a difference between truth,
And a dishonesty being fed to one's head.

Many don't see this,
And continue to believe
Whatever they decide,
Will be a truth they create for others to feed.
And unfortunate is this reality.

Disliking the truth,
Does not stop it from happening.
Or an experience of it,
Can not and could not
Be erased from one's mind.
