Unlimited Desire Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Unlimited Desire

Rating: 5.0

That is all needed
If advice is really heeded
What can we do other than being compassionate?
Show the worthiness of being human and relate

Animals too spend their time
Remain in hide out with happiness all the times
They have one time urge for food
Their concern is certainly understood

We have unlimited desire
Sages and saints sometimes satire
“Even wicked man spares one home”
Thieves break open holy places to stop welcome

We have gone crazy
Absolutely immoral life with no fear from almighty
Compassion and kindness has become rare
“To lead simple life” is reflected no where

Life is taking us somewhere
Where everybody fails to dare
But there remains one thing
Life should not be forgotten as human being
