Assumptions have become the custom.
Rushed to used by those quick to judge.
And fed rumors to whisper.
With time to find less sense to make.
Assumptions have become the custom.
Exposing it known,
Limited life experiences shown.
Although kept to spread,
Is the effectiveness of gossip.
For the ones who choose their news to get.
Regardless if the truth is left,
Unsubstantiated.
Unproven.
Or pursued to end confusion and conflict.
Assumptions have become the custom.
By those who judge.
Yet defend their ignorance.
Then too late after verdicts to have passed,
To ask for a forgiveness.
As if this should be given,
Without lessons to learn.
Or keep in their minds to have them last!
