Unsolvedmystery Poem by Sandra Feldman

Unsolvedmystery

Rating: 3.0

What makes a poet?
Incipient insanity
Translated into words,
Tying to capture clarity,
From all that is blurred?

What makes a Poet?
I really don't know,
But I know
You can't teach it
Nor in your garden, grow.

And the mystery will be forever unsolved. Love the first stanza so much that I think it can stand on its own!

All thinking attentive dreaming persons are poets, not necessarily those who scribble or scrabble.
