Until When Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Until When

No one born as of yet,
Has been assigned to tolerate...
Anyone else's nonsense.
Whether oppressed, suppressed...
Depressed by being,
Ignored or disenfranchised.
To have known this shown.

Nor...
Has it been proven,
With approval given...
Their life to live blessed to get,
Is solely to exist...
To make someone happy.

If people can not feel,
To know what it is...
That makes them happy.
Spend they will their entire life,
Looking for something...
Undefined or know,
What that 'something' for them is.
Even if they had it to destroy.
Leaving them still unsatisfied.
Disappointed and annoyed.

"I thought you found,
What it was that made you happy? "

-I thought so too.
But it didn't last.-

"Then...
What are you searching for? "

-Happiness.
That something or someone,
To make me stay feeling that way.-

"Until when? "

-That's a stupid question.-

"Is it?
Then why am I not surprised at all,
That you can not provide the answer."
