Up In My Stuff Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Up In My Stuff

You're all up in my stuff,
Huh?
I'm surprised you haven't smothered.
You must be too busy to utter a sound.
Since I provide you,
Several reasons to stay around.
But don't get confused,
If I seem to avoid and not acknowledge you.
It's my way of making sure,
No one suspects...
I am the first to see your face,
Before you open your own door.
And sneak away from my steps.
