Vowel Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Vowel

Rating: 5.0

Vowel is represented
By the AEIOU;
They're needed by the consonant
To make a word or two.

AEIOU can mean
All Eyes Intend Opening Up;
For the children or kids
Have questions that never stop.

AEIOU can stand for
An Endless Inquiry Of Underage;
Because each and every young one
Wants to gather knowledge.

Vowel is a speech sound made
With one's mouth open;
Tongue is in the mouth's middle
To echo the word from heaven.

Each of five letters has more
Than one sound's type or model;
Or can even be silent,
Vocal is the root of vowel.
