Waiting For Love Poem by Ima Ryma

Waiting For Love

I am a Mr. mallard duck.
In the mood to make love I be.
I found a nice spot and with luck,
Miss Right should be coming to me.
How could any female resist
The colorful feathers I sport?
I am dressed for romantic tryst.
Plus, I am a charming sort.
I should be easy to be seen,
In gray water on this gray stone,
Holding up head, metallic green.
But so far I am all alone.

More bored I get, longer I stay.
I hope Miss Right is on her way.
